2010 IPUMS Workshop at PAA
The Integrated Public Use Microdata Samples (IPUMS) team will host a FREE workshop focusing on how to use the IPUMS database for demographic research. The session will cover the data available, explain how the datasets were created and integrated, demonstrate how they can be obtained free of charge through the web-based extraction system, and give examples of using the data to answer demographic questions. It will be held Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Cumberland H, Exhibition Level of the Hyatt Regency Dallas. The event is free, but registration is encouraged. |
