Description

NUMTAKN indicates the total number of slaves sampled from the given holding. In the flat samples, NUMTAKN will not differ from SIZEHOLD. In the other samples, NUMTAKN will often be smaller than SIZEHOLD, since small groups of slaves were sampled from very large holdings (see the sample description pages).
