Population Schedule

The top of each population schedule includes space for describing the area being enumerated (starting with State and including ward and block number details). The rest of the schedule contains a table, where each person is a row and rows of people are organized into households. The columns of the table are used to record responses to census questions. The specific questions included on each population schedule, including the geographic information from the top of the schedule, are linked on the Enumeration Forms Index Page.

Left Side
Left side of form: includes address, name, relationship, home data, and personal description

Middle
Middle of form: includes education, place of birth, and mother tongue

Right Side
Right side of form: includes citizenship, occupation/industry, employment, and veteran status
