Description
PRTITLE is a variable that is available for the 1910 and 1920 Puerto Rican Censuses only. It preserves the respondent's personal title as the enumerator recorded it on the census form. This variable should be used with caution as it is unlikely that personal titles were enumerated in a systematic fashion.

This variable should be used with caution as it is unlikely that personal titles were enumerated in a systematic fashion. PRTITLE specific variable codes for missing, edited, or unidentified observations, observations not applicable (N/A), observations not in universe (NIU), top and bottom value coding, etc. are provided below if applicable by Census year (and data sample if specified).
