Description

RESPONDT identifies the person who provided most (or all) of the information about the household to the enumerator. Sometimes enumerators received information from someone outside the household. Most often this was because the household members were temporarily absent. In such cases, there is no respondent within the household, and all household members are coded "0" for RESPONDT.
