Description
SPMMORT records a family's tenure and mortgage status. Specifically, it identifies whether an SPM family (SPMFAMUNIT) rents their home, owns their home with a mortgage, or owns their home without a mortgage. This information is used to construct poverty thresholds for the Supplemental Poverty Measure (SPM).
