NLFPM is a neighborhood characteristic which reports the ratio of the male civilian labor force aged 16 and over to the total number of civilian males 16 and over in the neighborhood (male civilian labor force 16 years old and over / total civilian males 16 years old and over). The ratio ranges from .00 to .99 (decimal implied) with values rounded to the nearest decimal place.

This variable is only available for the 1970 Neighborhood Samples (U.S. and Puerto Rico).
