Description

NNOSCHL is a neighborhood characteristic which reports the ratio of the number of persons aged 16 to 21 who are not enrolled in school and who are not high school graduates to the total number of persons aged 16 to 21 in the neighborhood (population 16 to 21 years old not enrolled in school and not high school graduates / population 16 to 21 years old). The ratio ranges from .00 to .99 (decimal implied) with values rounded to the nearest decimal place.

This variable is only available for the 1970 Neighborhood Samples (U.S. and Puerto Rico).
