Description

NOCCPLUM is a neighborhood characteristic which reports the ratio of occupied units with all plumbing facilities and with 1.01 or more persons per room to the total number of occupied units in the neighborhood (occupied units with all plumbing facilities and 1.01 or more persons per room / total occupied units). The ratio ranges from .00 to .99 (decimal implied) with values rounded to the nearest decimal place.

This variable is only available for the 1970 Neighborhood Samples (U.S. and Puerto Rico). NOCCPLUM is a 2-digit numeric variable which reports the ratio of occupied units with all plumbing facilities and with 1.01 or more persons per room to the total number of occupied units in the neighborhood (occupied units with all plumbing facilities and 1.01 or more persons per room / total occupied units). The ratio ranges from .00 to .99 (two decimals implied) with values rounded to the nearest decimal place.
