Description

NRENT150 is a neighborhood characteristic which reports the ratio of renter-occupied units with gross monthly rent of $150 or higher to the total number of renter-occupied units in the neighborhood for which the gross is tabulated, this excludes "no cash rent" units (renter-occupied units with monthly gross rent of $150 or higher / total renter-occupied units for which gross rent is tabulated). The ratio ranges from .00 to .99 (decimal implied) with values rounded to the nearest decimal place.

This variable is only available for the 1970 U.S. Neighborhood Samples. NRENT150 is a 2-digit numeric variable which reports the ratio of renter-occupied units with gross monthly rent of $150 or higher to the total number of renter-occupied units in the neighborhood for which the gross is tabulated, this excludes "no cash rent" units (renter-occupied units with monthly gross rent of $150 or higher / total renter-occupied units for which gross rent is tabulated). The ratio ranges from .00 to .99 (two decimals implied) with values rounded to the nearest decimal place.
