Description
NSEPDIV is a neighborhood characteristic which reports the ratio of the number of separated and divorced persons to the total number of ever-married persons (separated and divorced population / ever-married population). The ratio ranges from .00 to .99 (decimal implied) with values rounded to the nearest decimal place.
This variable is only available for the 1970 Neighborhood Samples (U.S. and Puerto Rico). NSEPDIV is a 2-digit numeric variable which reports the ratio of the number of separated and divorced persons to the total number of ever-married persons (separated and divorced population / ever-married population).
