Description
NPOPHH is a neighborhood characteristic which reports the ratio of the population in households to the total population for the neighborhood (population in households / total population). The ratio ranges from 0 to 9.9 (decimal implied) with values rounded to the nearest decimal place.
This variable is only available for the 1970 Neighborhood Samples (U.S. and Puerto Rico). NPOPHH is a 2-digit numeric variable which reports the ratio of the population in households to the total population for the neighborhood (population in households / total population). The ratio ranges from 0 to 9.9 (one decimal implied) with values rounded to the nearest decimal place. NPOPHH specific variable codes for missing, edited, or unidentified observations, observations not applicable (N/A), observations not in universe (NIU), top and bottom value coding, etc. are provided below by Census year (and data sample if specified).
