Description
NPROFMGR is a neighborhood characteristic which reports the ratio of persons age 16 years old and over who are employed as professional, technical, and kindred workers or employed as managers and administrators except farm managers to the total number of employed persons age 16 and over in the civilian labor force for the neighborhood (population 16 years old and over employed as professional, technical, and kindred workers; managers and administrators, except farm managers/ total employed civilian labor force 16 years old and over). The ratio ranges from .00 to .99 (decimal implied) with values rounded to the nearest decimal place.
This variable is only available for the 1970 Neighborhood Samples (U.S. and Puerto Rico).
