A subset of cases in the 1910 Weighted sample were drawn from an oversample of the Hispanic population in selected states and counties (not including Puerto Rico). These cases have a value of 6 in SAMP1910. HISP1910 refers to the sampling rule that resulted in the case being included in the original Hispanic oversample. Hispanic sample points were selected based on one of the following: birthplace, parental birthplace, language, race, or surname.
