Description
NVALUE10 is a neighborhood characteristic which reports the ratio of owner-occupied units valued at less than $10,000 to the total number of owner-occupied units in the neighborhood for which the value is tabulated (owner-occupied units valued at less than $10,000 / total owner-occupied units for which value is tabulated). The ratio ranges from .00 to .99 (decimal implied) with values rounded to the nearest decimal place.
This variable is only available for the 1970 U.S. Neighborhood Samples. NVALUE10 is a 2-digit numeric variable which reports the ratio of owner-occupied units valued at less than $10,000 to the total number of owner-occupied units in the neighborhood for which the value is tabulated (owner-occupied units valued at less than $10,000 / total owner-occupied units for which value is tabulated). The ratio ranges from .00 to .99 (two decimals implied) with values rounded to the nearest decimal place. NVALUE10 specific variable codes for missing, edited, or unidentified observations, observations not applicable (N/A), observations not in universe (NIU), top and bottom value coding, etc. are provided below by Census year (and data sample if specified).
