Description

NVAL2PR is the proportion of owner-occupied housing units valued at less than $2,000.

Codes

This variable is only available for the 1970 Puerto Rican Neighborhood. NVAL2PR is a 2-digit numeric variable which reports the ratio of owner-occupied units valued at $2,000 or less to the total number of owner-occupied units in the neighborhood for which the value is tabulated (owner-occupied units valued at $2,000 or less / total owner-occupied units for which value is tabulated). The ratio ranges from .00 to .99 (two decimals implied) with values rounded to the nearest decimal place. NVAL2PR specific variable codes for missing, edited, or unidentified observations, observations not applicable (N/A), observations not in universe (NIU), top and bottom value coding, etc. are provided below by Census year (and data sample if specified).
