Description
SAMEMET1 first classifies sample-line persons according to whether they currently lived in a metropolitan area and then sorts these groups according to residence inside or outside a metropolitan area one year ago. For sample-line persons living inside a metropolitan area at both points in time, SAMEMET1 reports whether their current and past metropolitan area of residence was the same. Metropolitan areas consist of a large central city and surrounding economically-integrated counties; see METAREA for a detailed definition.
