This variable is only available for the 1970 Puerto Rican Neighborhood Samples. NRN40PR is a 2-digit numeric variable which reports the proportion of renter-occupied housing units with gross monthly income less than $40 (renter-occupied units with monthly gross rent less than $40 / total renter-occupied units for which gross rent is tabulated).
